FALL CO-ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Shuhan was first introduced to the underground hip hop dance scene in 2014 at the age of 15 and began training in various street styles such as hip hop, popping, locking, breaking, waacking, street jazz, and urban dance in addition to having fundamentals in ballet and tap dance from previous years. While practicing and learning new techniques through taking classes at Broadway Dance Center, Peridance Capezio Center, EXPG, and during annual summer trainings in major studios in Beijing, China, she also started experimenting with her choreographic skills. She is currently a junior in NYU Gallatin studying the combination of performing arts, digital media, and psychology and wishes to incorporate dance in her future career. Going into her second season with EPIC, Shuhan looks forward to experiencing more different dance styles as well as choreographing for a bigger group of dancers.
