From Louisville, KY, Jared Giles started dancing at 17, when he and two of his friends decided to start a group and perform at parties and talent shows around town. Jared continued his training , mainly in hip hop and street jazz, in North Carolina as a member and leader of Kamikazi Hip Hop Dance Team. Jared also had the opportunity to work with KODACHROME, a nonprofit dance corporation whose mission it was to unify the dance community and expose dance in North Carolina and Virginia.
A lover of theater, Jared has performed in several musicals and plays in Louisville and hopes to, one day, get back on the theater stage in NYC. Now, having graduated from grad school, Jared continues to train in hip hop, street jazz, contemporary dance, and ballet, and couldn’t be more excited to join EPIC’s 11th season!
